Welcome to the MSBOA District X Web Site.

Are you a member of the MSBOA District X Email Group? If you are a member of District X and would like to join the email group, email me with your request and I'll add you to the list.

The purpose of this list is to make communication among the membership as fast as possible. The list also allows us to share ideas and resources between the band and orchestra directors of District 10. This is a professional organization with high standards for the behavior of our students and us. Keep that in mind when sending messages. Never send a message that you wouldn't want read out loud at a general meeting.

If the list is not used for this purpose, you may be removed. So far, we have not had problems with posts of a negative nature. All email posts are listed at our Yahoo Directory Site for everyone to read. I remove the messages that I deem inappropriate for general information. This list is not a fully moderated list which means that when you send a message, it automatically goes to every member of the list.

If you want to reply to just the sender of a message without sending the message to the entire list, copy the sender's address from the email and paste it into a new message rather than hitting reply. This will help eliminate unnecessary emails to the other members of the list.
